Ryan's 2nd Birthday

How could it be? My little caboose is now 2 years old TODAY! My baby is growing up right before my eyes. Hes such a cute little guy. Hes full of energy and personality. He just doesnt have time for this baby business, hes much more interested in trying to keep up with his 3 older brothers. Being the 4th boy he has learned to fight hard for everything and dont give up. This has caused quit a workout for Mommy as I try to battle him to get dressed and put on his shoes. He will do things in his own due time and nobody will try to convince him otherwise. He is a snuggly baby too. Hes never shy to give a hug or a kiss. He has the smile that will chase away any grey skies. He makes my heart shine each and everyday. He is also very smart and a very quick learner. Hes talking better then any of the other boys. He can say almost all common words and gives his best try on the more difficult words. Hes strong and determined. He is not a quiter, he will pratice anything until its perfected. Hes a great friend to his older brothers and they love playing with him. He enjoys being part of the brother team.
On our birthdays we have a tradition of going out to the local doughnut shop for breakfast. This time we got permission to light a candle and sing Happy Birthday. Something new to add to this special outing. We sang and he blew his candle out and then we devoured our doughnuts. What a perfect start to a special day.
After an early nap Daddy took all the boys to McDonalds to play and burn some energy. Poor Ryan discovered the importance of wearing your winter gloves in the snow. He found a snow pile outside of McDonald and coudltn resist playing in the snow, even after Daddy tried prying him out. See what I mean, if he wants something he will do it even if its painful. I think he learned a good lesson though to listen to Daddy.
I stayed home and decorated the cake and the house for his family birthday party. I went with a Monkey Theme. Being that hes my little monkey :)
We then enjoyed a super fun Monkey Party with Mimi, Grandpa, Unlce Ryan, Aunt Melanie, Uncle Micah, Aunt Jasmine and cousin Ollie, and of course his 3 older brothers and Mom and Dad.
We had a little dinner. Mac-n-cheese, Green Beans and Hot Dogs.
WE then decided to take Ryan's roller skating for the his first time on his Birthday. So after dinner and after his little family party we packed everything in the Van and headed up to Reno for family skate night. It was a great ending this little charmers 2nd Birthday. We had a great time. We even bought little blinking binkies and had our own little Blink Birthday Party in honors of Ryan and his love of binkies. We had a blast. I pushed Ryan in the stroller and the other 3 boys rollerskated around with Daddy or myself.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!!!
